About the Quality Mark
If you’re looking for teaching resources, you need to know that they can be relied on. As the leading independent authority on financial education, pfeg is the first port of call for teachers looking for guidance and support in teaching money matters.
The pfeg Quality Mark accreditation system ensures that resources and materials for teaching financial capability are suitable, effective and of the highest educational quality – whether for Year 1 or Year 13. To date, more than 70 carefully selected resources have been awarded the Quality Mark.

The Quality Mark criteria
All pfeg Quality Mark resource providers are required to adhere to a rigorous code of practice.
The Quality Mark is awarded to resources that:
- are accurate and up-to-date
- are free of branding
- match curriculum requirements
- are easily available, adaptable and low cost
- cover an appropriate range of financial topics
- have been developed in partnership with teachers and tested in schools.

- Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency (was QCA)
- Department for Education
- Financial Services Authority / CFEB Consumer Financial Education Body
- Learning and Teaching Scotland
- Northern Ireland Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment.
