Learning Money Matters is a pfeg initiative aimed at increasing the visibility and quality of personal finance education in secondary schools in England so that all young people will leave school with the financial knowledge, skills and confidence they need to live full adult lives.
Trained pfeg consultants can offer you free telephone, on-line or face to face support and a range of free resources to help you plan and teach personal finance, based on the needs and every day experiences of your pupils.

A 10 minute video of 7 schools demonstrating the range and diversity of how schools can integrate personal finance teaching into their timetables.

Case studies for ideas and lesson plans to try out in the classroom or for teacher professional development. They can be developed to suit local contexts. These case studies should provide the impetus for more schools and others to try out the ideas and to contribute to the on going dialogue about how best to develop financial capability in young people.

Cultural Diversity Bulletins Special Needs The Ozlem Show: a video

These bulletins are designed to give teachers and pupils an insight into how people may experience personal finance differently. Containing features, current affairs articles and factual information relating to the different dimensions of cultural diversity in today's society for example economic, social, racial and religious groups.

A pack that can be used with pupils with moderate to severe learning needs. Activities cover three levels of ability and bring together basic skills of coin recognition, addition of money and calculating change. Presented in a format that acknowledges the age and maturity of students.

A film featuring an improvised role-play using a Kilroy style show format by pupils from Catford Girls School, London. The students took on fictional characters for the chat show, and demonstrated their understanding of personal finance in a very creative, innovative and entertaining way.
