As well as our remote support and advice, we can offer face to face training to equip teachers with the tools and resources to teach quality financial education. 

Book your place at one of our primary or secondary Financial Education training sessions taking place in central locations across the country or let us come to you and personalise the training for your school.  There are separate sessions for primary and secondary education, all delivered by our expert financial education consultants.

The cost of attending any of the regional training events is £75.  Each city will host a primary session in the morning: 10.00am – 12.30 and a secondary session in the afternoon: 1.30 – 4.00pm.  You can choose to attend either the primary or secondary sessions, or both.This will be invoiced following your booking

OR chose our tailored in-school training option, and we’ll come to you

  • We will come to your school to deliver the training on a date that suits you 
  • Where possible please book at least 3 weeks in advance
  • Venue and refreshments: to be provided by you
  • Minimum participants: no minimum
  • Maximum participants: 20

Costs and timings:

  • Each CPD training session can accommodate up to 20 adults and has a cost of £450
  • The training sessions have been developed to run for approximately two hours
  • Discounts are available for multiple bookings, please get in touch to discuss this.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the training for?

In school training can be for groups of up to 20 delegates – you may want an all staff session on financial education in general, or a specific subject led training for your cluster of schools. In all cases the training will help develop the knowledge and confidence of all involved to deliver effective, relevant and age appropriate financial education to the young people they work with.

What is included?

When you enquire about training, you will be able to discuss your needs with a member of our Services team. You will then be allocated a consultant, who will deliver the training in your venue. Delegates will be provided with hard copy resources and materials as part of the fee.

Can I request a CPD session focuses on a certain subject? 

Yes, the following courses are on offer: 

  • Financial education in the primary curriculum
  • Financial education in the secondary curriculum (overview for a mixed staff group)
  • Teaching financial education within secondary maths
  • Teaching financial education within secondary citizenship
  • Teaching financial education within secondary PSHE Education
  • Financial education within enterprise and work related learning
