This resource, developed in partnership with Nationwide Building Society, is designed for use with primary school teachers for use in maths lessons. Its aim is to help primary teachers find innovative ways to include maths with a financial context in lessons.

Overview

The purpose of the resource is to explore the ways in which schools approached the subject of financial education and how this was included in primary maths lessons, with the aim of inspiring other primary teachers to include some of the learning in their own classrooms.

The resource consists of a range of case studies from teachers involved in Year 1 of the project, as well as a range of practical activity ideas that can be used in class.

There is also exam style questions which can be used to measure pupils' progress.
