Assessor's comments
A set of three beautifully illustrated financial fairy tales which introduce small children to ethical and moral dilemmas around money targeted at both parents and teachers. There is an activity book, linked to the three fairy stories, which includes tasks such as games, puzzles and a further story with multi choices as to the outcome. There are links to the KS1 curriculum in England, Scotland and Wales.
The booklets and activities provide a easy and fun way of introducing your pupils to some aspects of financial methods and to encouraging discussion on many matters that arise. The activities listed would appear to be more suited to the top end of KS1 but a little imagination would allow parts of the information to be used by all. The booklets also provide a variety of points/scenarios which could prompt discussions in the class and encourage the pupils to ask questions at home.
