MoneySense for Schools - You're in Business
This module offers an introduction to the skills and attitudes when entering the world of work, as well as a start-up guide to business. Further topics require students to work in small groups, each with clearly defined roles and responsibilities focussed on setting up a business or tendering for a contract. Each of these roles provides the opportunity for the exploration of financial concepts and scenarios.
Teachers can use the student tracking system to plan their lessons and follow up on their students' progress.

Lyndsey Callion's comment:
Excellent for off timetable days
I have recommended this resource to many of the schools I work with for KS3 and 4. It links well to Business Studies, WRL, Careers, PSHE and Maths.
A MoneySense coach will actually come into school free of charge and deliver this session with you, they even do all the photocopying!
I worked with Y9 in a school in Manchester on an off timetable day using this resource during My Money Week, it worked really well. The pupils really enjoyed working in groups and playing to their strengths; maths, creativity, marketing etc. Food is a topic that appeals to most young people and I was amazed with the exciting menus they came up with that really represented the ethnic diversity of the catchment area, so encourage them to add extra items to the food lists.
