Lifeskills - Traveller's Cheque

Picture of the CD rom resource © resourceimage/168_lifeskills_trav.jpg

A worthwhile and flexible resource (with speech on/off option) which would work well, in a small group setting, of pupils aged 14+ who have learning difficulties, or younger, more able pupils. It incorporates opening a bank account, saving, planning and preparing for a holiday via an interactive CD.

This is a lively resource and the software will appeal to young people. It is essential that teachers are very familiar with the resource before use. Lots of valuable content, game progress can be slow when speech facility (spoken text) is used.
