Whitbread’s projects are focused on Leisure with two elements of personal and business finance: The role of Leisure and Tourism in the UK, Economy and The effect of Leisure and Tourism on Employment Opportunities

This resource will deliver Key Skills evidence for level 3 through studying various financial aspects. The units are formal and require a high reading age. They are designed to be used either through direct delivery or once introduced supported self study units. The units are quite flexible in terms of how you deliver them and provide plenty of scope for individuals. Students may however need support in terms of time and portfolio management.

This is a useful resource to promote discussions on the financial implications of life choices, for example attending university, having a mortgage or renting a property. There are a number of worksheets with a range of activities. Web-based and paper-based versions are available. The online version includes videos and interactive activities. There is also a particularly useful glossary on financial terms.
