Fortunity - My Money online game
Fortunity, a brand new fully interactive online game for pupils in key stages 3 and 4, and post-16, is designed to help pupils improve their financial capability. The game helps pupils to learn how to confront financial challenges in a fun and engaging way. Using a virtual board game and avatars, players move through different stages of life, from the teenage years to retirement, making everyday and long-term decisions and discovering their outcomes. To succeed, players must balance their saving and money management with options that affect their wellbeing. Supporting materials for teachers include key financial concepts and processes covered in the game, links to the current PSHE education curriculum, learning objectives, and to how the game can be used flexibly in class.
