These focus on providing information and challenge in the form of tasks, activities and case studies for reflection and discussion. Separate topics include banking, borrowing, saving, bills, insurance, benefits, National Insurance and income tax.

The resource also contains the Personal Advisers’ Handbook for teachers, parents, carers and youth workers making this ideal for the home or outreach work. The handbook also shows the contribution that can be made by different curriculum areas when developing young people’s financial education.

This is an excellent resource. It provides immediate access to up to date meaningful information providing an opportunity for immediate response. The combination of individual access and flexibility for use by teachers in the classroom will only enhance its potential and popularity. Its availability as a paper-based resource as well as an electronic one with an obvious continuity of content and style adds to its desirability. There are also useful links to other websites for additional research into the different topics.
