Case study: Starting a stationery store with years 4 and 5

Teachers of years 4 and 5 at one school had a clear idea about how they wanted to approach personal finance education with their classes: they wanted the children to feel that what they were doing related to the ‘real’ world. So they invited two bank volunteers and someone who ran a small business to support the children throughout their project – running a stationery store.
