My Money Week 2009 at Holmfirth High School

At Holmfirth High School in West Yorkshire the whole school got involved with this year’s My Money Week. Year Ten students kicked off the week with ‘President for a Day’. This conference, run through the Damaris Trust, helped students explore aspects of economic Education and Citizenship, providing a springboard for activities later in the week. These focused on topics relevant to the current climate; the credit crunch and bank liquidity, for example.
