Case Study No. 38: Developing financial capability at The Sycamore Centre, Surrey
The Sycamore Centre works with students who present very challenging behaviour. It was recognised by the centre that personal finance education (pfe) was a very important element in the education of the young people they teach and wanted to embed pfe within the curriculum. The challenge was to develop resources that would be engaging and motivating for the students. This case study (17 pages) describes how the centre addressed the development of pfe and offers some resources that have been successfully adapted and developed by the centre that may be useful for others to try in the classroom.
