Get Money Savvy petition
‘Get Money Savvy’ is a petition by young people, for both young people and adults, to ensure that all pupils are taught how to manage their money properly.
"Young people are calling for quality personal financial education to be part of the curriculum for all schools, so that every child and young person can save, plan and budget effectively for their futures"
This petition was suggested by the Young NCB Members, part of the National Children’s Bureau (NCB) charity, who have been working with pfeg (Personal Finance Education Group) for the last 3 years, giving the opinions and views of young people on financial education.
They say: “We see quality personal financial education as the opportunity to raise awareness of financial responsibility amongst children and young people to achieve future economic and social well-being for our generation. We are looking for as many people as possible, both young people and adults, to support our campaign by signing this petition, which we hope to hand in to 10 Downing Street.”
