My Money gives you access to a wide suite of free resources for primary and secondary schools from foundation level to 16-19 including:
Primary
- My Money: Primary Toolkit – Ideas for delivering financial capability in Key Stages 1 and 2 - a teacher toolkit with lesson plans and activities in PSHE, maths and citizenship, for both KS1 and KS2. The toolkit enables teachers from different subject areas to help students explore the concepts and processes relevant to financial capability. Order or download a copy below.
- My Money Week 2010 Primary Activity Pack: This year My Money Week ran from 28 June to 4 July, and this activity pack was designed to inspire teachers and their students to get involved in the Week, but you can still order or download it now and use it even though the Week has passed. The pack is brimming with fantastic, flexible activity ideas to help you teach personal finance across the curriculum in My Money Week and beyond. Order or download a copy below.
Secondary
- FinCAP - The FinCAP is an innovative online tool for assessing your pupils’ personal finance knowledge, skills and attitudes at key stage 3 and key stage 4. Visit www.mymoneyonline.org to access the FinCAP.
- My Money: Mathematics Resources – Teaching units for delivering financial capability in Mathematics at key stages 3 and 4 - practical teacher resources for KS3 & KS4 which enable teachers to use personal finance as a stimulating context in which to deliver the mathematics curriculum. A dedicated My Money and My Money Week website
www.mymoneyonline.org, re-launched in April 2010, is your first port of call for all things My Money and My Money Week. The website is brimming with information and activities for teachers and students including:
