Further Education strand
The Further Education strand of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Financial Education, led by MPs Duncan Hames, Nic Dakin and Justin Tomlinson, is conducting an inquiry to establish what current practice of financial education exists in the Further Education sector.
Information
The inquiry will result in a short report that will list the catalogue of opportunities available, and identify of examples of best practice to be shared more widely. The results of a survey aimed at those working in further education institutions is currently being collated. In addition the strand will be holding some oral evidence sessions to inform the report over the next month. The report will be released in conjunction with the Primary and Secondary education inquiry report in December 2011.
Guidance for Further Education tutors
The inquiry committee would like to hear from tutors or employees of Further Education institutions. The official survey is now closed, however, if you wish to share your thoughts or send us a case study of the work you have been doing in your institution please email appg@pfeg.org
