Neil Mawdsley

Regional Director for the Central region

Neil began his career as a history teacher on Merseyside. He followed this with a series of senior appointments including head of careers and Technical & Vocational Education Initiative co-ordinator. Following a secondment to the local authority in 1990, he began the second phase of his career as an Education Business Partnership (EBP) manager which culminated in his appointment as chief executive of Lancashire EBP, the largest of its kind in the country with a £3m budget and 80 staff.

Neil has always had a keen interest in personal finance and has lectured at a number of adult education colleges on investment and technical analysis.
