Kate Snapes

Kate has a PGCE in post-compulsory education and the Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties. She has taught in further education, at the Advisory Centre for Education, young offender institutions and for a charity. She also qualified as a Basic Skills specialist. During her teaching career she has worked predominantly with young people aged 14-19 who were being educated other than in school. She left full-time teaching to work on a major literacy and numeracy research project.
