Wendy van den Hende was appointed as pfeg’s first chief executive in 2000, setting up the Quality Mark and developing the ground breaking Excellence and Access initiative that defined the most effective approach to supporting schools to teach personal finance education. Since then pfeg has grown from a base of two to 59 staff. Wendy was previously chief executive for Parent Network, deputy director of the National Council for One Parent Families and interim director of the Camelot Foundation. She is chair of Milton Keynes Citizen Advice Bureau and a governor of Stantonbury Campus, one of the largest comprehensives in the UK.
