Su has worked in the education sector for 16 years. She progressed from being a teacher of mathematics to a mathematics coordinator / advanced skills teacher in an inner London school. The latter role involved developing the school’s specialism in business and enterprise through mathematics and being part of the Senior Management Team.

Su was also a Lead Practitioner for the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust for three years. Su also has four years experience of working as a National Secondary Strategy Mathematics Consultant for the London Borough of Wandsworth. She had a key responsibility in steering the development of the National Strategy through her role as Lead Consultant.

Over the last seven years Su has supported many teachers to help raise standards in mathematics departments through her roles as a LA Strategy consultant, SSAT Lead Practitioner, Advanced Skills Teacher and a pfeg consultant.
