Celia Allaby

Programme and Policy Director

Appointed as Programme and Policy Director in 2011, Celia has over 20 years experience in education. First, teaching in primary and secondary schools, before becoming a local authority adviser for 10 years. An interest in music led her to set up a CD shop with her partner, but she couldn’t quite leave education behind, realising that this is still what makes her heart race.

Celia joined pfeg originally in 2007 as a freelance consultant on the primary What Money Means programme and saw at first hand how inspiring and creative teachers can be when they help young children to understand money. She took over the management of WMM from 2008 and from 2009 she was Regional Director for the Southern Region.
